A few days before unveiling Una Escapada Caribeña, FAYE's Summer Drop 2026, we'd like to invite you behind the scenes.
Every campaign begins long before the first photograph is taken.
When discovering the images of a collection, we rarely imagine everything they hold within. Of course, there is the creative process, but there is also everything that comes before: the research, the location scouting, the decisions, the encounters, the hours spent imagining how to bring garments to life before they are even worn.
Today, we take you to Sian Ka'an Biosphere reserve, in Tulum, Mexico where Una Escapada Caribeña came to life. A story about a last-minute getaway, a break from the daily routine, a way to live a summer escapade with simplicity.
A Caribbean cabana in Sian Ka'an
For its Summer Drop 2026, FAYE returned to its roots: a Caribbean cabana nestled in Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, in Tulum. A place that feels like home.
It was here that the brand first took shape, born from a desire to create pieces perfectly suited to a life lived between the beach and the city. Garments designed for barefoot afternoons in the sand, spontaneous swims, and slow Caribbean evenings. An effortless elegance, even by the sea.
As we start to feel the space, we imagine the scenes, the silhouettes, the gestures, the rhythm of the day. Which piece belongs here? Which moment belongs there? Where will the light reveal itself most beautifully? Nature has always been FAYE's inspiration. We are endlessly drawn to the way sun touches the skin, allowing shadows to dress the body as garments themselves.
The story of a summer afternoon on vacation
Life according to FAYE. A duo living at the rhythm of summer, with softness, lightness and spontaneity. For this, we gather people naturally embodying the laid-back way of life we live here every day. Nothing should be staged. Our intention is simply to capture what already exists.
The scenes unfold with the rhythm of the day until the last light disappears beyond the horizon. We want these images to speak the language of an unplanned summer getaway; Una Esacapada Caribeña.
What remains is the sand beneath your feet, the sea breeze, the palms, a solitary cabana… and thoughtfully designed essentials, consciously created to be worn and cherished season after season.
A loose tunic, a pair of shorts, and an asymmetric top, all with hand-embroidered in-house medallion made from a light, sheer, existing cotton, along with two bikinis and our iconic prints over t-shirts. Five pieces, designed to accompany an entire day, from the beach to dinner, and everywhere in between. A vacational wardrobe designed to fit into a small suitcase, leaving room for memories. 
A capsule brought to life by our people
Every campaign is the result of many hands, many talents, and one shared vision. Those are our people:
Faye Ricchitelli, founder and Artistic Director of FAYE, conceived the creative vision behind the collection. She imagined the silhouettes, the atmosphere, and the sun-drenched aesthetic that defines the brand, allowing the spirit of this cabaña Caribbean to become part of the story itself.
Arsène Grandjean, co-founder of FAYE, orchestrated the entire production, creating the perfect conditions for everyone to focus entirely on what they do best.
Lola Jallais Antonicelli to translate FAYE’s into the brand’s digital universe and to give the campaign its editorial voice.
Through her sensitive eye, Sofia Fernandez captured each fleeting moment while guiding the models with remarkable ease and warmth.
Malena enhanced each face with makeup so light and natural it became almost invisible, remaining impeccable despite the Caribbean heat and humidity.
Together, they created far more than a campaign. They brought FAYE’s way of living to life.
The luxury of living slowly
By the end of the day, it felt like a summer day spent with friends. There was laughters, sunlight fading into golden hour, the gentle rhythm of a place where nothing ever seems rushed.
Creating in an untouched Caribbean site is a privilege. A place where nature sets the pace, where time feels abundant, and where simplicity becomes a quiet form of luxury.
Perhaps this is what FAYE has always been about. A way of moving through the world. The luxury of freedom. The luxury of having time. The luxury of embracing the present moment with lightness, joy and intention.
And even when summer end, or the Caribbean is far behind, these pieces carry a little of that feeling with them. A reminder that the spirit of vacation is not a destination, but a state of mind.
